THE 2025 TOYS FOR TOTS CAMPAIGN HAS COME TO A CLOSE. THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR PARTNERS, DONORS, AND VOLUNTEERS WHO HELPED MAKE IT A SUCCESS. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL IN 2026

ALL COLLECTION SITES MUST BE REGISTERED ON THE WEBSITE EACH YEAR
At the top of this website use the drop down menu under "Get Involved" to register as a toy collection site. Even if your site is not open to the public (your are collecting in your office), you MUST still register. When you register you will have the option of not having your site listed on our website.
Once you have registered to be a Toy Collection site (see Item #1 below), you can pick up a toys for tots collection box and poster at the following locations;
I am sorry that we cannot distribute toys to individual families. You will need to register with one of the agencies we provide toys to. Those agencies are listed on our website.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our local website and seek additional information about the Kane County Toys for Tots program. We collect NEW and UNWRAPPED toys as well as monetary donations to purchase toys that go to children in Kane County that would otherwise wake up Christmas morning with an emptiness far greater than the space under a tree.
How can you help?
1. Become a Drop-Off site to collect toys
Are you a business or organization that would like to become a drop-off location or hold an event for Toys for Tots?
Click here to Become a toy drop site. Once registered you will be directed to where you may pick up a collection box and poster.
2. Host an Event!
If you are hosting an event to benefit or support the Kane County Toys for Tots Campaign please fill out the Host a Toys for Tots Event. Please note that "Events" refer to one day collection events.
3. Donate a toy!
Find a Drop off Location:

4. Make a donation!
If you can't get out to a drop-off location or an event, you can still help by making a donation to the Kane County Toys for Tots program!
We’ve made it easier than ever before!
Mail a Check:
You can mail a check or money order (*made out to Toys for Tots*) c/o Javier Martinez, P.O. Box 8113, Elburn IL 60119. Again, please make sure that the check is made out to Toys for Tots.
5. Volunteer

Oct 24th - Open for Nonprofit Agency Toy Requests
Oct 27th - Open for Event Requests
Nov 5th - Boxes and Posters available from listed distribution sites in Kane Co.
Nov 17th - Last day to submit Non profit toy request
Nov 17th - Last day to submit an event request
Nov 17th - Non profit agency 501c3 and Letter of Good Standing paperwork due
Nov 28th - Non profit agency Child Lists due
Dec 3rd & 4th - Pick up all collection boxes from collection sites that cannot deliver to warehouse
Dec 5th - ALL toys collected at collection site MUST BE dropped off at warehouse.
Dec 19th - Last day for approved 501c3 organizations to pick up toys

Although we are accepting toys until Dec 5th, we would appreciate you dropping off toys by as soon as possible starting Nov 24th so we can distribute the toys starting Dec 12th.
TOY SUGGESTIONS: We accept toys for age groups infant to 14, but have a great need for girls/boys 18 months and younger and girls/boys ages 11 to 14.

Aurora, Barrington Hills, Bartlett, Batavia, Big Rock, Blackberry, Burlington, Campton Hills, Carpentersville, Dundee, East Dundee, Elburn, Elgin, Geneva, Gilberts, Hampshire, Hoffman Estates, Huntley, Kaneville, LaFox, Lilly Lake, Maple Park, Montgomery, Mooseheart, North Aurora, St. Charles, Sleepy Hollow, South Elgin, Sugar Grove, Virgil, Wasco, Wayne and West Dundee.
Parents or Legal, Court Appointed Guardians: Unfortunately due to a shortage of resources we cannot provide toys directly to families. Visit our Request a Toy page to find contact information for approved organizations accepting new families. Information will be added as soon as it is available.
501c3 Organizations: The Kane County Toys for Tots program works with all non-profit, approved, 501(c)3 organizations that meet the qualifications on our application. Your organization MUST be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Illinois. Certificates of Good Standing are required to be submitted with your application. Your organization must also be registered and located in Kane County, Illinois. If your organization is NOT in good standing, or if your organization does not provide a Certificate of Good Standing, your application will NOT be considered and your organization will NOT be eligible to receive to toys.
In order to be eligible to receive toys, your organization MUST FULLY COMPLETE the Agency & Non Profit Request Form located at the top of the page under "Request a Toy" heading. ALL applications must be filed ONLINE. For the 2024 campaign, your ONLINE application must be completed and submitted no later than Nov 17th. No written, faxed, telephonic, voicemail, text message, or paper applications will be reviewed, considered or accepted. ALL applications must be submitted ONLINE and DOES NOT guarantee approval. The ONLINE application submitted within the allowed time allotment, will continue to be reviewed for approval. If ALL of the required documents are received, legitimate and approved, your organization MUST submit a detailed child(ren) list no later than Nov 28th. All child lists must be submitted on the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet provided, no exceptions! No other lists in any other format will be accepted.
